Meet Your Captain

Captain JC Livingston

Florida Native, Captain JC Livingston, was born and raised in Crystal River. Many of his summers growing up were spent lobstering in the Florida Keys and Tarpon fishing in Homosassa River. His love for the outdoors was evident at a young age as his sense of time was based on Duck Season, that shot into Turkey season, which faded into Tarpon Season, that rolled into Gator season.

Local knowledge, combined with his passion for the outdoors, allows JC the ability to provide a memorable hunting or fishing experience when anglers and outdoorsman alike visit the Nature Coast.

Captain JC specializes in light tackle spin fishing and fly fishing for redfish, snook, tarpon and trout as well as sought-after gator and waterfowl hunts.

Proline

Our versatile 24’ Proline center console is the ultimate fishing platform for both inshore and nearshore fishing on the Florida Nature Coast. Designed to handle a wide range of conditions, this boat transitions effortlessly between shallow backwaters and open coastal waters.

This boat also holds special meaning for Captain JC Livingston, as it once belonged to his late friend, Captain Dan Clymer. Each time it’s launched and fished hard, it serves as a tribute—honoring his memory while continuing a shared passion for guiding unforgettable fishing experiences.

East Cape Vantage

When you book an inshore fishing charter or Tarpon fishing trip, you’ll fish from one of the driest and most capable shallow-water skiffs on the market. Our 19’ East Cape Vantage skiff is expertly rigged for inshore and nearshore fishing and powered by a reliable Mercury Marine 115 outboard to get us to the fish quickly and efficiently. This center console skiff offers comfortable seating, a spacious layout, and a large forward casting platform—giving you the ideal setup to target trophy tarpon and other prized inshore species on the Florida Nature Coast.

As Seen In Flats Class TV

In this episode, JC Livingston joins C.A. Richardson to target gag grouper in less-than-expected depths across the Gulf. From finding the right hard bottom to dialing in boat positioning and bait presentation, they break down what it really takes to get it done.
